TECNO lists the SPARK 50 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of ₦174,700. It is sold nationwide at TECNO exclusive stores and authorised retailers. Prices at independent shops and online marketplaces can vary, so compare a few sellers and make sure you get an official warranty.

Battery life: the main reason to buy it
The 6,700mAh battery is noticeably larger than the 5,000mAh found in many phones. For heavy users who stream, game, run an online business or spend all day on WhatsApp and social media, that extra capacity means fewer trips to the charger, which matters when power supply is unreliable.
The SPARK 50 also supports reverse charging: you can use it as a small power bank to top up earbuds, a smartwatch or a friend’s phone with a cable.
Display: smooth 120Hz scrolling
A 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through social media, reading and gaming look smoother than on a standard 60Hz budget phone. It is one of the features that makes a budget phone feel more premium in daily use.
Camera: 50MP for social media
The 50MP main camera uses AI processing to produce bright, colourful photos that are ready to share, whether you are taking portraits, food pictures or content for your business page. As with most budget phones, expect the best results in good light.
Durability: IP64 protection
IP64 means the phone is protected against dust and splashes of water from any direction. It is not waterproof for swimming, but it is better protected against rain and accidental spills than many phones in this price range.
Who is the TECNO SPARK 50 for?
- Students who need a phone that lasts through lectures and study sessions
- Small business owners who rely on WhatsApp, social media and mobile payments all day
- Content creators on a budget who want a decent camera and long battery life
- Anyone upgrading from an older phone with a weak battery

- ✅ Large 6,700mAh battery with reverse charging
- ✅ Smooth 120Hz display
- ✅ IP64 dust and splash resistance
- ✅ Affordable official price
- ❌ Budget-level camera performance in low light
- ❌ Full chipset and charging-speed details were not highlighted at launch
