Design and build

Display
The 6.8-inch Super Actua display uses an LTPO OLED panel with 1344 x 2992 pixels, about 486 pixels per inch. Its refresh rate adjusts from 1Hz to 120Hz to save power. Brightness reaches 2400 nits for HDR content and 3600 nits at peak. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an anti-scratch shield protects it.
Performance and software
The Tensor G6 chip and Titan M3 security coprocessor power the phone. You can choose 12GB of RAM with 256GB, or 16GB of RAM with 512GB or 1TB. The higher tiers use Zoned UFS storage for faster performance. It launched with Android 17 and gets seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates.
Cameras
The Pro camera system is one of the best on any phone. The 50MP wide camera uses a large 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/1.68 aperture. The 48MP ultrawide has autofocus and a 123-degree view. The 48MP telephoto provides 5x optical zoom with stabilisation, and Pro Zoom reaches 120x. Video Boost enables 8K recording at 30fps. The 42MP selfie camera has autofocus and records 4K. Pro controls, High-Res 50MP photos and Night Sight video give creators more control.
Battery and charging
The 5,115mAh battery is the largest in the Pixel 11 range, and Google quotes 30+ hours of battery life. Charging is faster too: up to 75% in about 30 minutes with a 45W charger. Pixelsnap Qi2.2 wireless charging works at up to 25W.
Connectivity
The phone supports 5G, including n77 and n78, plus Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Ultra-Wideband and Thread networking. The USB-C 3.2 port supports fast data transfer. SIM support is dual eSIM only. Read our guide on eSIM before you switch.
Tips for new owners
Use a 45W USB-C PPS charger to get the full charging speed. Turn on Pro controls in the camera app if you like manual settings. Try Video Boost for night videos and 8K clips. Set up Satellite SOS and Theft protection in the safety settings. Because there is no SIM tray, move your number to eSIM before you retire your old phone.
What to check before you buy
Before buying, confirm eSIM support with your network. Pixels are not officially sold in Nigeria, so check warranty terms with importers. Make sure the phone is not carrier-locked. Choose 512GB or 1TB if you plan to record lots of 8K or 4K video, since there is no memory card slot.
How it compares
Compared with the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pro XL has the same cameras and chip but a bigger 6.8-inch screen, a larger 5,115mAh battery and faster 45W charging. The smaller Pro is easier to hold and lighter. Compared with the Pixel 11, both Pro models add sharper screens and far better cameras.
Price and availability
Google sells the Pro XL alongside the Pixel 11 Pro on the Google Store. Prices vary by storage and country, so check the Google Store or your importer for current pricing.
