Design and build
The Pixel 11 measures 6 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches and weighs 6.9 ounces, around 196g. It uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and a polished back with a satin-finish aluminium frame. It is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. Four colours are available: Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus and Obsidian.
Display
The 6.3-inch Actua display uses an OLED panel with 1080 x 2424 pixels, about 422 pixels per inch. The Smooth Display adjusts from 60Hz to 120Hz. Brightness reaches 2000 nits for HDR content and 3000 nits at peak, so it stays readable outdoors.
Performance and software
Google’s Tensor G6 powers the phone, joined by the Titan M3 security coprocessor. It is tuned for Gemini AI features such as Gemini Live, Circle to Search and Live Translate. Every model has 12GB of RAM, with 256GB or 512GB of storage. The phone launched with Android 17 and gets seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates.
Cameras
The 48MP wide camera has an f/1.70 aperture and Macro Focus. A 13MP ultrawide covers a 120-degree view. The 10.8MP telephoto offers 5x optical zoom with stabilisation, and Super Zoom reaches 30x. Video records in 4K at up to 60fps with 10-bit HDR. The 10.5MP selfie camera has autofocus and also records 4K. Familiar Pixel tools like Night Sight, Add Me and Magic Eraser are included.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 4,985mAh, and Google quotes 30+ hours of battery life. Fast charging reaches up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30W charger. Pixelsnap Qi2.2 wireless charging works at up to 25W.
Connectivity
The Pixel 11 supports 5G, including bands n77 and n78. It also has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC, with a USB-C 3.2 port. SIM support is dual eSIM, so there is no physical SIM tray. If you are new to it, read our guide on what an eSIM is.
Tips for new owners
Set up your eSIM before switching phones, because there is no SIM tray. Turn on Satellite SOS and Car Crash Detection in the safety settings. Try the 5x telephoto for portraits, and Macro Focus for close-ups. Use a 30W or faster charger for the quoted fast-charging speed. Finally, install each Pixel Drop to get new features over the seven-year support period.
What to check before you buy
Before buying, confirm that your network supports eSIM, because the phone has no physical SIM slot. Google does not sell Pixel phones officially in Nigeria, so imported units may lack local warranty. Check that the phone is genuine and not carrier-locked. Choose 512GB if you shoot lots of 4K video.
How it compares
Compared with the Pixel 11 Pro, the standard Pixel 11 has a lower-resolution 120Hz screen, smaller camera sensors and a 10.8MP telephoto instead of 48MP. However, it costs $200 less and keeps the Tensor G6 chip, 5x zoom and seven years of updates.
Price and availability
Google lists the Pixel 11 from $899 in the US before trade-in. Prices elsewhere depend on importers and retailers.
