Design and build

The phone measures 166.6 x 78.5 x 8.6mm and weighs 215g. It uses a glass front with a plastic frame and back, which keeps the price down. Despite the budget build, it carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, with immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. Colours are Sapphire Blue and Aurora Gold.

Display

The 6.75-inch IPS LCD screen has a resolution of 720 x 1570 pixels. It is not very sharp, but the 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling smooth. Brightness reaches 1125 nits in high brightness mode, which helps outdoors.

Performance and software

The Snapdragon 685 is a 6nm chip that handles everyday apps well. It is fine for WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and light games. RAM options are 4GB, 6GB and 8GB, with 128GB or 256GB of storage. A microSD card slot lets you add more space. The phone runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

Cameras

The main camera uses a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, along with an auxiliary lens. It records 1080p video at 30fps. The 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls well enough.

Battery and charging

The 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery is the headline. Most users will get well over a day of use. Charging runs at 45W, reaching about 36% in 30 minutes. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging for small accessories.

Connectivity

This is a 4G phone. It includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C. NFC depends on the market. Stereo speakers are a nice bonus at this price. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor handles unlocking.

Tips for new owners

Choose at least the 6GB RAM version if you keep many apps open. Insert a microSD card for photos and videos to keep internal storage free. Use the 45W charger for faster top-ups. Turn on battery saver during long trips to stretch the battery even further. Keep the phone updated, and add a case to protect the plastic back from scratches.

What to check before you buy

Before buying, choose the RAM size carefully. The 4GB version is fine for light use, but 6GB or 8GB keeps more apps open without reloading. Check that the IMEI on the phone matches the box. Test the stereo speakers, fingerprint sensor and charging port. Because the phone has no 5G, confirm that 4G coverage is good where you live and work. Ask whether NFC is enabled in your market. Make sure the 45W charger is in the box, because a weaker charger will fill the 7000mAh battery very slowly. Finally, keep the receipt and ask about the warranty period.

How it compares

Compared with the Realme C85 Pro, this phone has a lower-resolution LCD instead of AMOLED, but it adds stereo speakers and offers more RAM choices. Both share the same chip, battery size and charging speed. If screen quality matters most, the Realme wins. For audio, choose the Oppo.

Price and availability

Prices depend on the RAM version and seller. Check the price table on this page and buy from authorised Oppo shops.
