Vivo V80
Here are the full Vivo V80 specs, taken from Vivo’s official spec page. The V80 is a camera-focused mid-range phone with a 50MP telephoto and a huge 7200mAh battery. We cover the display, chip, cameras, battery, durability and connectivity.

The Vivo V80 is Vivo’s new camera-focused mid-ranger, launched in October 2026. Its standout feature for portraits and concerts is the 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, alongside a 50MP main camera using Sony’s LYTIA 700V sensor and an 8MP ultrawide. The front camera is also 50MP with autofocus.
The 6.59-inch AMOLED display runs at up to 144Hz with 5,000 nits local peak brightness. Performance comes from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4nm), and a large 7200mAh battery charges at 90W.
The V80 is slim at 7.69mm, rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water, and runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, NFC and an infrared blaster.

Design and build
The V80 is slim for a phone with such a big battery. It measures 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.69 mm and weighs 203 g. It has a glass back and is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water. There are three colours: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor sits under the display.
Display
The 6.59-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2750 x 1260 pixels, about 459 pixels per inch. It refreshes at up to 144Hz. It covers the P3 wide colour gamut for rich colours. Vivo quotes a local peak brightness of 5,000 nits. That should help the screen stay readable outdoors.
Performance and software
The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, built on a 4nm process. Its CPU has one core at 2.8GHz, four at 2.4GHz and three at 1.8GHz. Vivo pairs it with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is no memory card slot. The V80 runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17.
Cameras
The camera system is the reason to buy the V80. The 50MP main camera uses a Sony LYTIA 700V sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical stabilisation. The 50MP telephoto uses a Sony IMX882 sensor with an f/2.65 aperture and its own stabilisation. That is ideal for portraits and concerts. An 8MP ultrawide covers a 115-degree view. Up front, the 50MP selfie camera has autofocus. Both front and rear cameras record 4K video.
Battery and charging
The V80 packs a 7200mAh battery, with a rated minimum of 7015mAh. It supports 90W FlashCharge. A battery this size should easily last a full day of heavy use. For more ideas, read how to make your phone battery last longer.
Connectivity
The V80 supports many 5G bands, including n78 for Nigerian networks. You also get dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. The USB Type-C port runs at USB 2.0 speeds and supports OTG. An infrared blaster lets you control your TV or air conditioner.
How it compares
Compared with the Poco F9 Pro, the Vivo V80 has a bigger 7200mAh battery and a slimmer 7.69 mm body. It adds an IP69 rating, an infrared blaster and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. The Poco F9 Pro is faster, with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It also has a 185Hz screen, 100W charging and wireless charging. Both phones offer 50MP telephoto cameras with stabilisation. If you shoot portraits, group selfies and concerts, the V80 is the better pick. If you play demanding games, the Poco is stronger.
